Squibs might be compared to being tone-deaf or color-blind, or, as you 
said, plain blind. I would think magic is a talent that's turned into 
a skill by training.  I mean, Wynton Marsalis, the jazz great, went to 
conservatory (Julliard, I think). He is enormously gifted as well.
