The second line comes right out of CoS

friends was attacked." CoS Ch.17.

	Which, combined with your comment, leads me to imagine Voldie as a 
Scooby Doo fan, curled up on the sofa in front of his magically 
modified TV set, with Nagini and an ever-replenishing bowl of popcorn, 
watching a Scooby marathon on Cartoon Network...the mind boggles.
