I'm starting on the international editions FAQ, so I'd like help from anyone who has information on this subject. I'm interested in both the cover art and the translations. Here are the types of questions that I'd like to address:

What are the best Web sites with info about international editions?

Where can you order books in exotic languages? (any language other than English, Spanish, French & German)

In what languages have different versions been published? (e.g., English - British/American; Spanish - European Castilian / Latin American Castilian / Catalan; Chinese - PRP/Taiwan, etc.) What are the main differences between versions in the "same" language?

Which textual errors are commonly carried through to the translations?
- ancestor/descendent of Slytherin (e.g., corrected in the French)
- wand order (incorrect in the French)
- others?

What significant changes or errors have been introduced in the translations. (e.g., PRP translations change flying broomsticks into flying roller skates)

Why isn't Harry wearing glasses on the Danish covers?

Please message me on- or off-list if you have any special knowledge about this subject.

Thanks,
-Jim Flanagan
