Ah, of course, good point. Voldemort would feel like a bit of a prat
if that was the case, wouldn't he?

It's made me feel like a bit of an idiot for having a super-Harry in
my fanfic when there are so many sound arguments against that theory,
but you're welcome. I now subscribe to the Lord-of-the-rings-style-
little-people-defeat-overconfident-Dark-Lord school of thought: JKR
will quite likely make Harry's victory a triumph of courage and
ingenuity (and probably luck) over evil.
Actually, I've just had a thought - have we yet to see the full
significance of the powers passed from Voldemort to Harry (shared
wand, Parseltongue)? And what about the blood connection? Also,
Harry's going to be having semi-permanent nightmares from now on
because Voldemort's back and on the rampage. He'll probably need to
take sleeping potions all the time to combat that.
