Hermione's Family

Hi all,

I am new to this list.  I am single, 52 and female and only 41% obsessed, 
which according to my adult friends is plenty.  However they gave me many 
HP things for Christmas.  I do have the Hogwarts poster on the wall in my 
office. and the calendar on my desk.  Anyway, although this has probably 
been covered on this list before,  I am so curious about Hermione's 
family.  I would for JKR to flashback to the time when Hermione received 
her acceptance letter to Hogwarts.  Did she know she was a witch?  Did her 
parents?  If not, what was the reaction to her going to Hogwarts?  How does 
she communicate with them.  Do Owls deliver to muggles.  Do they know what 
kind of danger she has been put in.  Did they tell them when she was in the 
infirmary with fur and a tail?  And what did they say when she came home 
with her teeth fixed not by orthodontia?  These are the questions that 
perplex me.
