But Voldemort did not give Harry his wand back simply because of his
sense of honour. It didn't stop him from wasting Cedric, did it?
No, Voldemort needed to reassure his followers that he was, and still
is, top dog. Giving Harry a chance to defend himself while he killed
him would settle the matter once and for all who was the most
powerful between them.
It didn't quite work out that way, did it? ;-) Voldy got beaten,
beaten soundly by a 14-year-old under-age wizard in full view of his
followers. He's got sum 'spaynun to do. ;-)
