How exactly did you obtain these definitions, Barb, particularly for
Half-muggle and mudblood? If this is your opinion, that is fine, but
you should say so. If it is based on something it says in the book,
I think that most people on this list would like to know more detail
-- for example, exactly where does it say what the difference between
a mudblood and a half blood is?
I know this may sound picky to some people, but I think it is really
important to differentiate between what is actually stated in the
books (e.g. Harry is a wizard), what is implied in the books (e.g.
There is more going on with Mrs. Figg who lives near Privet Drive
than we know), what is conjecture based on the implications in the
book (e.g. Hermione will be a prefect), and what is purely
speculation on the part of the person posting (e.g. Harry and
Hermione will fall in love).
