Hi - interesting question! I'm usually a lurker, too, but as this
question is something I have been pondering, too, here are my thoughts
about it:
Voldemort -for sure... as someone said: this is a children's book
after all.
Dumbledore -almost for sure... for drama, and for Harry to become a
hero on his own.
Pettigrew -likely... possibly after he has come back from the "dark
side" and saved/helped Harry (yes, I'm waiting to see that!).
The other's are harder to tell, but here are some possibilities:
A Weasley. Which one? Percy or one of the twins (no, the latter would
be too cruel for the remaining one, wouldn't it?).
Remus Lupin. I really don't want to see that, but I'm afraid that
Pettigrew will use his new weapon, his silver hand, to kill his former
friend. Or maybe he only tries... I hope that Remus will survive if
that would actually happen.
A Dursley. Any of them. Harry is protected when he is surrounded by
his relatives, but what if someone gets rid of his relatives?
Hopefully Arabella Figg looks after the Dursleys as well as after
Harry.
Somehow I think that Snape will survive; he's kind of survivor type.
And Sirius... to give Harry a home after this all has ended.
And Harry... the hero has to survive.
