My daughter is 7 1/2 and we read the first three books
together this winter. She does tend to scare easily,
so I was worried she might get scared at certain
points in the story. She didn't! I am holding off on
reading the fourth book, because I do feel it's
scarier than the others and the plot is more
complicated. I will eventually get to it, I'm sure;
I'm just waiting until she's a bit more mature. She
was clamouring for it, even if I did tell her it was
scarier and more complicated. In the mean time she can
hardly wait for the movie to come out.
