Forgive me for chiming in on this, as I imagine someone's already 
mentioned it to you - but reading your message I remembered there's a 
condition known as "Seasonal Affective Disorder", that is triggered 
apparently by the short days of winter and low light levels.

It might be worth your while to see if there's any correlation between 
your symptoms and the description of SAD.  Fortunately, it's 
relatively easily treated... once you realize what it is.

(Who has been on the dark end of THAT stick also.  Wyoming winters are 
not much fun, and can lead to miserable depression...)
