I was with my husband (who was stationed in Germany at
the time) when we recieved a package from his father.
(this happened the year PoA came out BTW) All it
contained was a paperback copy of SS and a hardback
copy of CoS, no note, no letter, no nothing just the
books. My husband took a look at the cover and back
and said, "Whatever" (he still refuses to read them,
his loss) but I went home and read SS in about 3
hours, followed shortly thereafter by CoA. About 2
weeks later I purchased PoA and sat down and reread
the first two before reading that one. When GoF came
out my husband bought it for me for my b-day. I not
only read GoF that day but then went back and read all
four over again (I think I went to bed at some time
around 2AM in the morning). Since then I have not
only reread all of them but have gotten the first
three 8on tape(maybe I can get my husband to listen to
them if he won't read them right? It's worked before
anyway :D )
