The short answer is - I didn't! Let me explain:
Last Christmas here in Britain, the B.B.C. did something they had never done before; they broadcast a whole book uninterupted on the radio. The book in question was PS and it blew me away! Stephen Fry's wonderful silky voice was the perfect sound of the Potterverse (IMHO of course). I just lay there and listened to more than eight hours of fantasy, letting it all wash over me and I was hooked! Since then I have bought all four books on audio cassette read by Fry (I just cannot imagine that Dale could improve on his renditions) and I must have listened to them all three or four times now (less for GoF as I have only had that a month or so). The only JKR books I have actually read are QTtA and FBaWTFT.
Cheers
Chris
