That's true, but not only because it would devastate the readers, but
because of common sense--the books are all narrated by Harry, and how could
he narrate it if he died? I doubt it'll be the Ghost of Harry Potter
speaking. I used to think it would be incredibly cool if Harry died to
defeat Voldemort--perhaps something having to do with the blood that
Voldemort stole tied them together so much, among others things that happen
later, that Harry killed himself to kill Voldemort. Otherwise, Harry killed
himself to weaken Voldemort so much that Ron and Hermione, or Dumbledore,
defeated him without using the killing curse. *sighs* >I also have my doubts

Hermione is extremelly smart and knows her spells well. She'd be hard to
kill, once she gains a little more confidence.

True...but don't I wish it wasn't so. It would give the books such a fun
twist. Especially if the last word 'scar' ended a sentence like 'And as
Harry turned to smile at her, pain exploded in his scar.' Another instance
of thinking Voldemort died, but he didn't.

Perhaps what I thought would happen with Harry could happen with Voldemort.
Wouldn't it be lovely if Dumbledore and Voldemort were somehow related? I
don't know how that would work, but it would just give such a...twist.
Again. Anyhow, if they were, that's how Dumbledore could kill himself and
destroy Voldemort.

That's so sad--I can't imagine Ginny dying! I agree that she seems like
avital character, but I think it's more likely if she ends up as a crucial
member of Harry's side.

I hope I didn't sound too suicidal/homicidal *bg*
