I was actually just a crashed modem away from asking the same question some week ago, so obviously I have to reply:
It all started with a superb (IMHO) song by the Smiths: "How Soon Is Now?". I was at a party at a friend's, when this song came from the speakers, and I made a comment that a not too bad cover of it is the theme song of TV-series 'Charmed', whereafter we started discussing TV shows involving supernatural elements in a regular and (more often than not) American high school environment (Charmed, Buffy, Roswell and -obviously- Sabrina). For some strange reason I've always had a weakness for these types of crossovers (possibly fueled by the leading actresses in abovementioned shows...;-) ) so my friend thought that if I liked witches and wizards in school, I should try the best there were on the subject, and handed me a copy of Philosopher's stone. The rest is, of course, history...
Martin, who has at least persuaded one person try the Harroin.
