No, nobody is ever automatically bad, of course not: but let's face 
it, Slytherins do have a bit of a reputation, and there are several 
places where characters express an acute awareness of this. Nothing 
so far has come up to challenge that reputation. It is hard for me to 
imagine that this will continue unchallenged through all of the books.
