Well, there are always those who can't decide or don't
care.  Or are Muggle-born and have no idea.

But I think it's more than choice but (as someone
already said) what's best for the child.  I mean,
exactly how will Crabbe and Goyle be served if sorted
into Hufflepuff?  Their parents are probably from
Slytherin and Death Eaters also; it's best that
they're in Slytherin.
