Subject: Why did we start reading the books?
WOW! 2 posts in less than an hour! As I've been reading the thread
about where the HP books should be placed, I've noticed many people
including why they stared reading the books. I personally started
reading them because I thought that before I recommended these books
to parents as something for their child to read, that I should read
them myself and know what I'm recommending. I ended up reading the
first PS/SS, CoS, and PoA between Friday night and Sunday morning.
So, I'm just curious as to how/why/how long other people read the
series. Does anyone have any really cool story? I know mine is not,
I just happen to love books and got hooked.

My story isnt that exciting either, but it kind of is funny in a way.
I remember hearing about these books. There was a lot of publicity when they
first emerged into my knowledge. But I remember sitting on the train one
day, and hearing this giggle. I looked beside me and this lady was reading a
book. I noticed the bright cover instantly as a Harry Potter, cause there
was a lot of publicity at the time.
So after witnessing several of these incidents on the train trips home, I
decided to give in and read them.
Hooked. Just like the rest of you. From page one.
And just to make this a quick on-topic where does it talk about werewolves?
I dont recollect reading about them, but I might not have noticed. Shame on
me!!

PS. ANother train story to show just how obsessed I am (if my Tshirt, pencil
case and stickers dont say that already). I was on the train this morning
the express to town (Brisbane) and I started to look at all the people
around me. There was this man, with a short grey beard who was sleeping
leaning against the transparent partition. As I looked at him I though " He
looks just like Lupin!". Then I proceeded to find a Fudge, blonde Sirius,(he
was too goodlooking to leave out of the equation!!) and a madam Hooch, with
Red hair that stuck out like wings!!
Try it next time you're on the train! It makes the time go faster!!
