That's a really interesting idea, as is red queen's notion that Barty 
Sr. could come back as a ghost.

But my original thought before encountering this theory was that he 
transfigured his father's body because a bone is inconspicuous.

If anyone digs up a bone, they're not going to think much of it.

If they dug and found Barty's body they'd have _known_ something 
reallly bad was going on.
