Er.
So I've never posted anything before...um...well, this is off-topic,
and I tried to find out where to post it but I kinda got lost in
jargon and started getting scared and whimpery and so maybe someone
can have mercy on my poor tired little brain and tell me in
monosyllabic words where I should go from now on?
What a disclaimer. I should just shut up now, as my actual question
will never top the drama of that first paragraph.
Anyway, um...a very interesting thing happened when I came home from
school a few months ago. I pulled out my cherished GoF (I didn't take
it to school, I figured it would probably scare my roommates that I
could quote HP chapters) and began to read...and I found myself
becoming incredibly bored after ten minutes.
What the heck, man?
And so I began to skim through all my HP books; picking out choice
Snape scenes and poring over Percy (yay!) snippets and things. I
found that was all I could handle. I can't read an entire chapter at
a time, when I used to read and reread the books for hours. It's very
distressing. I actually have to resort to LIFE to entertain me.
Whoever heard of such a thing? *frowns*
And so my kvestion is this. Has anyone ever suffered from symptoms
such as these before, and if so, how does one overcome this disease?
Please, help me before my disinterestedness spirals out of control!
Agh! Oh, the humanity!

(who is, again, very sorry for inconveniencing you all by making you
skim over her first post)
