I don't think it is Mrs. Evans in particular that has a thing for flowers.  
I think it is JKR that does.  See,  there is Narcissa (which you can also 
think of as Narcissus), Poppy, Pansy, Lily, Petunia, Lavender (but also 
think her name is Lavender Brown, two contrasting colors), and there maybe 
more, It's just it is 1:30am here, and I just finished reading "Phantom of 
the Opera" (which I cried at the end! *sniffles*).

ummm...yea, there ya go...that's my opinion.
