How did Molly & Arthur get home in CS?

This probably has been discussed, but if it has, I missed it.
When Ron & Harry took the Ford Anglia to Hogwarts, how did Molly and 
Arthur get home that day? Did they apparate? If they did apparate, 
why didn't they apparate themselves into the Ford Anglia and drive 
the two to school?
