I have thought about this before, and i came to the conclusion that
you can't apparate to something in particular, but only a particular
place. An example would be that your csr is parked on the corner
of ... lets say Magnolia and Privet. You can apparate to this
corner, but not to the car, if you didn't know where it was parked.
Because they didn't know the cars exact location, they could not
apparate to it. Also the car was moving, and if they apparated to
where the car was, once the apparation started, the car would be gone
by the time they got there, which leave Mr and Mrs Weasley falling
several miles back to the ground...
Another thought that i had regarding how the Weasley parents were to
get home, was they were going to apparate home and leave the car
there all year, so they didn't have to drive more than twice a
year...
But then again, did they not notice that two of the kids they had
taken to the train had failed to pass through the border? why
couldn't they have just apparated back to the main area and find Ron
and Harry and demand an explaination?
I have one more question regarding apparation. In PS Dumbledore
apparated to Privet Drive. Then he told Minerva that he must
have "passed a dozen celebrations on his way" So does that mean that
when you apparate, you still see everyones house? Its the same as
walking, buy you're invisable? that seems rather inconvienant to
me...Any thoughts?
