You have fallen for their propaganda.  Of course the earth is flat, and International Confederation of Wizards teams spend a lot of time maintaining the illusion of a sphere.  This keeps all the Muggles in our three continents (Eurasia-Africa, America, the other bits), while they can make full use of the other two.
