In PS we had the motor bike, the broomstick, the charmed boat (Hagrid & Harry), and the train.  In COS we had the FFA, Floo powder, and the phoenix tail.  In POA we had the Knight Bus, the ministry car, the horseless carriages (a charming name, don't you think?) and Buckbeak.  In GOF we have the head-in-fireplace (which moves toast, if not people), apparition, the portkey, the flying carriage, and the underwater ship.  In QTA we have the magic carpet.

I find it hard to believe we know all the wizard ways to get about yet.

No, the thing I have never had an answer to is HOW DID THE DURSLEYS GET BACK WHEN H & H HAD TAKEN THE BOAT???

Calms down... I noticed this the first time I read PS, unlike the other Flints.
