Sorry.  I was going more by my experience with the Dictionary of OE
Corpus, where there are some words which are never spelled the same way
twice, and a bit of fudging can be called for if you want to ferret out
everything you're looking for.  I'm new at this 'fandom' thing; I hope
you'll bear with me. Obviously, I haven't boned up on my secondary
sources yet.
