I think they might even change an eventually "unsatisfying" end right 
from the beginning. Remember "The Name of the Rose"? (Wasn't a WB 
production, but anyway) They most insolently made the girl (that 
should have been burned as a witch) survive, and instead the 
Inquisitor died in a spectacular, Steven king-like manner. Ah, to be 
able to send them lots of howlers and undiluted Bubotuber pus!!!!
