I'm a Muggle who knits. Will I do? I'm already
planning on making myself a pair of Dobby's socks: I
took inspiration from the link that was posted and
worked up my own pattern. As for the sweaters, I've
always imagined them to be very basic: one colour (or
with a G or F, or a dragon), Stockinette stitch, crew
neck, worsted yarn. About any basic sweater pattern
could be used for something like that. I'm not sure,
but I think there are web sites where you can get
graph style charts for cross stitch. Imagine they
would be fairly easy to convert for knitting purposes.
I know I do have a sweater pattern with a heraldic
style motif that could likely be converted to a
Gryffindor theme... Email me off list of you like.
