Michelle, I wasn't *completely* serious when I made the 
suggestion. :) One of the most delightful aspects of Jo's work is the 
ambiguity. There's enough shading to allow for just about any 
interpretation.

That said, I think it would be fun to try and cast a "Dark Side" 
shadow on some of the more innocent characters, just to prove that we 
can. :)
