attributed to the fact that the kids in the stories are living with
out parents stifling their freedom. For a long time girls school
stories by enid blyton and brent dyer have been very popular and
certainly the childrens freedom played a big part in their success. In
the naughtiest girl series by enid blyton the main character goes to a
mixed bording school where the children set the rules, inforce them
and punish rule breakers
