Vernon knowing Dumbledore ... secrets

I am not sure if I am as familiar with the secret-keeping as some of you
are, but what about Dumbledore being Harry's secret-keeper? We know that
he valued James and Lily greatly. It would seem almost natural that he
take this important role in Harry's life seeing as he placed Harry
personally at the Dursleys. If I am way off, please clue me in. I haven't
had the time to read all the posts on this, so I hope I haven't stolen
someone's words, otherwise there might be a lawsuit. Or something. :)
