Amanda wrote an interesting theory about goblins going to Voldemort's 
side... and then I snipped it...

I really like the idea that the goblins are going to be Voldy's 
downfall.  Especially if it echoes Bagman's downfall... you know, 
Voldy's aware of how the goblins love money, all that stuff... and 
then he doesn't take them seriously when they start asking for their 
paychecks for working in his service... he says something like, "You 
Fools!  You work for me and will be paid when your work is DONE!"  
Then the goblins say, "Oh no no no... we work for money, not for you. 
 No money, no work."  Voldy: "You will do my bidding, you hideous 
little creatures, or I will make you pay!"  Goblins: "We're not doing 
anything until we get our galleons."  Voldy: "Imperius!"  Goblins: 
"You stupid git, that doesn't work on goblins.  Now you are going to 
die."

Okay, so it might not go EXACTLY like that... ;)
