I suggest that Voldemort and Lockhart share the need to have what
they want when they want it, and the decision to do whatever they
need to do to get it. That in my opinion is the true nature of evil.
I agree with whoever said that the memory erasing charm is evil.
I'm afraid I think that wizards do see muggles as sub-human,
otherwise they would never think of erasing their memories, a crime
against the integrity of another person equal to obliterating their
identity.
