I never suspected Quirrell for a second... And indeed, it was when
I first reached the words, "But it wasn't Snape... It was Quirrell.";
that I really knew for the first time that this was not going to be any
ordinary fantasy series! (It was the first genuine surprise I'd gotten
from a work of fiction since the age of six when I first read the
revelation of the long-lost Princess Ozma's true whereabouts, at the
end of the second Oz book!)
