I might have missed something but i'm not really sure how sirius got
into the castle in POA. Fred and George say that there are 7
passages.Filch knew about four of them, one was caved in ,one was
under the wallaping willow and the seventh was the statue of the
witch.we can assume that he didn't try to get in through any of the
known passages or the caved in passage. That only leaves two.
To get through the statue he needed to be thin, which he was so he
could have fitted but doesen't it need to be opened using a wand , as
far as i know he doesn't have one. Also there is ron's argument that
he would have had to break in to Honeydukes to get to the passage.
This seems to suggest that the only way he could have got in was
from the shrieking shack. But this would mean he would be outside and
would still have to get through the school and to the Gryfinndor
tower (just a thought ,i read before that sirius may have been in
slytherin some thing to do with all dark wizards coming from there
but it is very unlikely that he would know where the Gryfinndor
commen room is unless he was in that house....but then he did help
write the marauders map.....which would mean he knows where all the
commen rooms are.....????..)Anyway it would have been pretty hard to
sneck through the school unnoticed as sirius or a dog especially with
all the added security after he attacked the fat lady.Does anyone
else think that it seems a bit too hard or was it over looked so the
storylines could develop from it? ...wait a minute... was he living
in the forbidden forest??...he would still have had to cross the
grounds and get through the school though.
Shouldn't there have been some kind of gaurd to stop him getting
through the forest anyway??
I was also wondering who paid for Harry's broomstick in PP.Was the
money taken from his vault or did the school pay for it?.It seems a
bit unfair either way. If the money was taken from his vault it was
taken with out his knowledge(as far as we know) and nobody even asked
him what kind of broom he would like (i suppose he knew nothing about
them but it's nice to be asked anyway) It seems very unlikly that the
school paid for it.If the school could afford to buy a nimbus two
thousand for Harry why are the school brooms so bad .And wouldn't it
be unfair to all the other student's
I read a post last week that said Dumbledore might be Harry's
grandfather.I thought this was unlikely to start with and then i
thought that if he was his grandfather Harry would have seen him in
the mirror of erised.Wouldn't he? But i suppose as he doesn't see
Aunt Petunia either it could still be possible (it would have been a
good way for him to find out though ,if he was)
