A very special one: My guess is Hedwig.
Just think how sad Harry would be - losing his pet the only contact to his
friends, a friend and his very first birthday-gift, from the one who gave
him hope - the first who was nice to him, the first speaking with respect of
his parents... Hedwig - and Hagrid... I believe that while losing Sirius
would be the worst now Hedwig - and Hagrid would cause Harry lots of
distress and grief - but they don't to me, seem to be all that vital to the
story - particularly if Sirius gets out free, and shall care for Harry (so
well... let's kill the Dursleys off, too... must get dramatic leaving for
Harry!)
