"Only" potions?  Ohhhh, I can just hear Our Severus' stinging
retort to that particular slight to his specialty.

But yes, he does do other magic.  The episode of the Dueling Club
in CoS, and various conjurations in the Shrieking Shack in PoA,
come to mind.
