Secret passages... Store rooms. Teacher's homes (enough room for
families) .. and well, they got to have toilets!!! And, a Hall for
fests, a place to eat, kitchen, class rooms, study-rooms (Where some
could study on their own, after-graduating), library, nurse's place,
sports-field for Quidditch... Place for all allowed practice.

Only first-years need be told, and that's prefects' duty. Way to
Gryffindor-tower could well be trapping for things that should not be
there.

Because Poltergeists always trouble when there are adolescents around
- besides, he's not really hurting anyone.

House-ghosts ... I don't think they'll change unless a ghost stops
existing for some reason. Because to get a new ghost, someone is to
die (might be nice to see a ghost Cedric or Lily or James, though).
