Dementor Question

Are dementors corporeal or not?  I don't have PoA in front of me, but I
don't remember any definitive statements as to whether they are corporeal or
spirits, like ghosts.

If they are corporeal, would they be bothered by Muggle weapons?

As for why I ask---I'm working up a fanfic, _Harry Potter on the Russian
Front,_ which crosses HP & Co. with the novels of Sven Hassel, courtesy of
one Time-Turner and Voldemort having a brainstorm about teaming up with
Grindelwald.
