Toads are allowed, but considered old-fashioned. Hagris says that when he
buys an owl to Harry.

I too think that Trevor will be improtanat, but I hope he won't be a
person (animagus or a person turned to a toad by Voldemort). Perhaps he
could show some magical skills of a new sort.
