You and I may have to sift through the Howlers together, Tabouli, after what
I have to say. ^-^

It's my personal opinion that many women (myself included) feel a inner need
to have a dominate figure in their lifes, no matter how independent they may
be. Let's face it, no matter what ploy we use to let men know "hey, I like
you-I want to have a relationship with you" it's like expecting them to read
our minds. We want them to know us, and not have to be told to do so.

I think if Hermione did like Harry, it would because of an opposites attract
sort of thing. I imagine if Hermione didn't know someone like Harry (or Ron)
she would probably be a bit antisocial, maybe spend a deal of her free time
alone, only speaking when there was need for the
all-mighty-human-reference-book. And as for Harry, well I'm not saying he's
the exact opposite of the personality I just described, (or actually that
Hermione would be EXACTLY like that), but they do both have traits that each
other is (whether knowingly or unknowingly) dependant upon.

It's like to have one person floating in the air and one standing on the
ground. The person in the air pulls the person on the ground off the ground a
bit, while the person on the ground pulls the person in the air down a bit.
