She also didn't say which year Hermione was born in, so she's either 10
months older than Harry, or 2 months younger.
There's a big dicussion of this in the lexicon, arguing for the latter, but I'm in
the "older camp" because it seems that young wizards get their Hogwarts
invitation on their 11th birthday, so they'd have to be 11 before entering,
making Hermione one of the oldest students, Harry one of the youngest, and
Ron (March birthday) in the middle.
