I'm a newbie too. I've been wanting to read the books for the past two
months, but they were always checked out of the library. So, I just went
ahead and decided to watch the movie.
This week I picked up the first three books, and I am enjoying them
immensenly. I'm in the middle of book 2 right now. And at this rate, it
looks like I'll have to purchase the fourth book in hardback....unless GoF
is being released soon in papaerback?

I guess what initially attracted me was the subject matter.
How cool is a school for witchcraft and wizardy where a kid learns
spells, flying, potions, etc.?!?!

Has anyone done that sorting test at www.harrypotter.com? I always come
out as Grynffindor regardless if I do a random sort or answer the Q's.
