Her Veela magic affects males. My theory is that Fleur has learned to channel 
her Veela magic through her wand and the veela hair from her grandmother 
allows that channeling. I think that being able to take a trait like that and 
being able to apply it to wand magic is cool. :-)...I love coming up with 
these little, insignificant theories.


Hmm...Would being part-Veela really make things easier? Having hormone-driven 
teenaged boys drooling over you just because of your looks isn't exactly my 
idea of a good thing. I'm not trying to make Fleur sound like "boo hoo, I'm 
pretty and it's awful" type thing but having people notice your looks instead 
of your talent has to be really annoying.
