So, what about Draco, Crabbe & Goyle?

knows that someone can be all right even if their family is  
disreputable (Hagrid said something along those lines once, I 
believe..)"

Agreed, although as far as I'm concerned, Draco has shown his colors 
well enough. How would his "Mudbloods and Muggle-lovers first" remark 
sit with the school if they all knew?

Anyway, Dumbledore hasn't tipped his hand that he knows of Lucius's DE 
activities, or of Crabbe and Goyle's fathers'. He is taking the advice 
of that great Slytherin, Don Vito Corleone:"Keep your friends close 
and your enemies closer."
