Did you notice that the sneakoscope didn't go off until they mention
Remus Lupin? I believe that it was definitely Scabbers setting it off.
He was calm up until the name was mentioned. Too bad Remus hadn't been
awake...if he'd decided to take a look at Scabbers he'd have realized
it was Peter right away...of course that would have made the book
extremely short :)

Speaking of Scabbers, I still like my theory that the reason Ron's
spell in PS/SS didn't turn the "fat rat yellow" was that he wasn't
indeed a rat.

I also believe that the Marauder's Map only shows you people you've
met. As Remus has met Peter, he sees him on the map. Harry has meet
Crouch Jr. (though he thinks it is Mad Eye) and that is why he can see
him.

Anybody else think it's funny that the sneakoscope (if you say it
really fast it sounds like a toddler saying sneaker scope) hides in a
sock...an item that is in sneakers...I mustn't have gotten enough
sleep last night...I'll stop rambling.
