~*I have to agree with many of you who think that Hermione isn't obsessed
with powerful figures--or famous ones, for that matter. I think if
anyone is going to "go over to the Dark Side" it's Percy. As Ron has
mentioned, his brother is very "ambitious", but let's hope that he isn't
shortsighted enough that he ends up getting himself into trouble.
Remember in GoF he was eager to meet Ministry officials and make a good
impression(harmless enough), but that he was also becoming a workaholic.
Even before he took on duties at the MoM after graduation, he was a
prefect and eventually Head Boy. I've never really liked Percy, but I
have to admit he's intelligent and hardworking, and if he ever helped the
Death Eaters(willingly or otherwise) it wouldn't be nice for the "good
guys". But then, Percy also seems to be pretty sensible, so maybe I
shouldn't worry about him. His loyalty to his family seems to be
genuine. More than likely he'll join the forces of good instead of
denying Voldemort's return like an idiot(*coughFUDGEcough*) ^_^
Which brings up another point: What's going to happen to the Ministry
with Fudge in charge and Voldemort creeping up on them? I don't think
they'll be able to hold things together for long unless someone kicks him
out.......
