This has probably already been posted, but I looked back through old
post, but Yahoo Boards always confuse me, by the way I am a New user.
This theory is concerning the ever pondered upon Gleam of Victory in
Dumbledores eye at the end of GoF. Please tell me if I am missing
something.
When Harry went to the Graveyard he witnessed the magic used to bring
Voldemort back this included the Blood of Harry and the Hand of the
servant Peter Pettigrew AKA wormtail. I am now going back to book 3,
near the end, the scene where Harry relates the events in the
Shrieking Shack to Dumbledore, much like at the end of GoF, Harry
states: "But- I stopped Sirius and Professor Lupin from killing
Pettigrew! That makes it my fault if Voldemort comes back!." And
then
Dumbledore states in reply "Pettigrew owes his life to you. You
have
sent Voldemort a deputy who is in your debt
. When one wizard
saves
another wizard's life, it creates a certain bond between
them
. And
I'm much mistaken if Voldemort wants his servant in the debt of
Harry
Potter." He then later states "This is magic at its deepest,
its most
impenetrable, Harry. But trust me
. The time may come when you
will
be very glad you saved Pettigrew's life." Voldemort now has
the hand
of Pettigrew and the blood of the person he owes his life inside of
him, could this
ancient magic somehow play a large role in Defeating Voldemort?
