Then Lucy Wrote:
"I suppose it's a case of what Lupin was saying about a Patronus
being a very advanced piece of magic - clearly McGonagall's never
bothered to learn it. Perhaps you only take the trouble to learn the
spell if you're likely to encounter Dementors, and she didn't think
that was likely as a law-abiding school teacher! Which also gives the
interesting side question of just how Lupin came into contact with
Dementors and needed to learn it?"
This is very true where did he encounter them before because he
certainly did not back down before them! Maybe we will find out in a
later novel as J.K Rowling has hinted at his return. Lupin is a very
mystrious Character or at least I have always thought so, His
appearence has always struck me as odd, in that Rowling describes him
as looking "ill and Exhausted" I know that his warewolf status could
very well be the cause of this but surely not all, maybe he has
Experienced the Dementors before as Lucy has implied.
But all this still has not drawn us any closer to a conclusion as to
whether McGonagall is disloyal and it still remains my opinion that
she is loyal. The evidence to suggest otherwise is not strong enough
in my opinion
