Different letters for muggle borns?

We only know the contents of that final letter that Hagrid gave Harry directly, 
and by that point he knew that he'd be taking Hary to Diagon Alley himself.  

We don't know what was in the letters that Uncle Vernon destroyed -- they 
might have had special instructions for muggles.  We know that muggle 
parents can enter Diagon Alley, because Hermione's parents have been there, 
even exchanging money at Gringott's in Book 2.
