Hmm..you do have a point. I have a feeling that, if Quirrell was found, he
could've just said he thought he saw/heard something suspicious or was
checking on his Troll or something. Then the kids could've put two and two
together -*wait, Snape wasn't the one down there-Quirrell was! Hmm..methinks
something's rotten in the school of Hogwarts!*

I do prefer the book's version though ^-^

While I'm on it, why *couldn't* Quirrell get the stone? Dumbledore said that
only someone who wanted to find the stone and not use it could find it. Well,
Quirrell-chan only wanted to find it and give it to Voldemort. Unless maybe
Quirrell did want to use it himself, which would be a major strike against
his loyalty to Voldemort. I had the idea that maybe he couldn't get it
because he was possessed by Voldemort (Who did want to use the stone), but
I've always imagined that that was a 'two souls sharing one body' kind of
thing-and that it made a difference that it was the Quirrell half looking
into the Mirror and not the Voldemort.

~Cassie-who has taken a new liking to Quirrell now~
